A measles case in Salta has triggered alarms at the Ministry of Health. The infection occurred in a 19-month-old child who was unvaccinated and had no history of travel or contact with imported cases of the disease. An epidemiological alert has been issued due to the risk of a new outbreak and the possibility of endemic circulation in Argentina, which had been under control since 2000.
