A biologist who graduated from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires and holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. He works as Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad AustralHe is an Independent Researcher in the Scientific and Technological Researcher Career Track of CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council). He completed postdoctoral studies at the Toxicology Unit of the Medical Research Council (Leicester, UK), at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (Haifa), and at NYU Langone Medical Center (NYC, USA). He has knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science applied to health and biomedical engineering, focused on the analysis of biomedical data and the development of tools to support diagnosis and personalized medicine.
