Artificial Intelligence Program in Agribusiness

Start date:

10.06.2026
Duration: 4 months
Modality: Online

Artificial intelligence has ceased to be a future promise and has become a concrete factor influencing strategic decisions in agribusiness. The challenge today is not to incorporate technology due to trends or external pressures, but rather to... understand when, how and why to use it, in increasingly complex productive, economic and organizational scenarios.

This program offers comprehensive, strategic, and applied training in Artificial Intelligence geared towards agribusiness, with a cross-cutting perspective on the agri-food chain. The focus is on developing the ability to interpret its real impact on businesses, evaluate adoption and investment opportunities, and make informed decisions in highly uncertain environments.

I turned Artificial Intelligence into a strategic ally for agriculture.

Explore this academic proposal

This program was designed to address a specific need facing the sector today: a solid framework for evaluating, prioritizing, and leading Artificial Intelligence initiatives in agribusiness, beyond the existing level of technical knowledge. It's not about acquiring more technological expertise, but about developing the critical thinking skills to decide when it makes sense to implement it, when it doesn't, and under what conditions it generates real value for the business.

Studying this program allows you to step out of the noise and take an active role: understanding what questions to ask, how to read a technological proposal, how to evaluate economic, productive and organizational impacts, and how to integrate Artificial Intelligence within a broader agribusiness strategy.

Because today the difference is not made by who incorporates more technology, but by who knows how to use the right technology, at the right time and with a clear purpose.

This program is aimed at professionals in the agri-food and agro-technological ecosystem who participate, or seek to participate, in decision-making related to the adoption, evaluation, or investment in Artificial Intelligence.

In particular, it is designed for:

Business owners and managers in the agribusiness sector: Owners, CEOs, CFOs, managers and those responsible for strategic areas of agricultural, agro-industrial and food companies who seek to improve competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability through informed use of AI.

Managers and entrepreneurs of technology and Artificial Intelligence companies: Founders, executives and leaders of software, data science or AI companies who need to understand in depth the productive, economic and operational logic of agriculture in order to identify real application opportunities and adapt technological solutions to the sector.

AgTech ecosystem professionals: Those responsible for innovation, product or business development in AgTech startups, as well as consultants in digital transformation, agribusiness or sustainability who support technological adoption processes in agriculture.

Investors and financing actors: Investment funds, family offices, development banks and actors linked to AgTech and Climate Tech interested in evaluating investment opportunities in data-based and Artificial Intelligence solutions applied to the agri-food sector.

Public officials and NGO professionals: Professionals from governments, international organizations and organizations linked to agriculture, productive development, technology, environment and climate change who participate in the design, evaluation or implementation of data-based public policies.

You will learn to evaluate Artificial Intelligence technologies applied to agriculture from a strategic perspective, understanding when and how they generate real value before investing time, money or resources.

You will develop the ability to interpret data, information and technological proposals, transforming them into concrete decisions about production, management and business models within the agri-food ecosystem.

You will incorporate tools and analytical frameworks to diagnose risks, opportunities, and returns in innovation, digitization, and AI projects, considering economic, productive, and organizational impacts.

You will work with real cases and scenarios from the sector, applying what you have learned directly to your professional activity, company or business, avoiding theoretical solutions or those disconnected from practice.

The program is structured in stages and themes that are articulated in a progressive journey: understanding the current context of agribusiness, understanding the functioning and impact of Artificial Intelligence, analyzing strategic decisions and applying concrete criteria for its adoption in different links of the agri-food ecosystem.
