In this context, information and data become strategic assets. Analyzing them allows for optimized decisions regarding planting, logistics, costs, and productivity. As agricultural data increases exponentially, the need arises for professionals capable of processing, interpreting, and applying data intelligence in agriculture.

La Diploma in Data Intelligence for Agriculture Its purpose is to introduce the fundamentals of data science and its practical application in agribusiness, providing concrete examples of digital products and solutions that enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the sector.

This program is designed to professionals and technicians linked to the agricultural, agro-industrial or food sector, interested in incorporating data analysis and artificial intelligence tools to improve management and productivity.

The program no prior technical knowledge required.

 

This program proposes acquiring a comprehensive training in the use of data and analytical tools applied to the agricultural sector, combining conceptual foundations with real-world practices.

The diploma program is organized into six modules that address the main aspects of data science for agriculture: from data collection and cleaning to predictive modeling, visualization and communication of results useful for decision-making in agribusiness.

All classes are taught in Spanish.

It is held twice a week:

  • Tuesday from 18:21 p.m. to XNUMX p.m.
  • Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Total program duration: 108 hours (91 synchronous hours + 25 asynchronous hours)

METHOD: Online

Faculties of Business Sciences and Engineering of the Universidad Austral will extend the Academic Certificate of Approval of the “Diploma in Data Intelligence for Agriculture” to those who comply with the promotion regime.

It consists of complying with the 75% attendance to classes and submit the final project.

Currently an Agricultural Data Scientist at Louis Dreyfus Company and a professor at the Universidad Austral, specializing in crop projections, geospatial analysis and predictive modeling.
