“If someone were thinking about studying this career, I would tell them not to come looking for pre-chewed answers, but with curiosity and a desire to question.”
Marketing is usually thought of as social media and sales. What surprised me most was discovering a much deeper discipline, linked to sociology, culture, and human behavior.
What I value most about studying at Austral University is that the theory doesn't just stay on paper. We had the opportunity to work on strategic consulting projects applied to real brands and institutions like Nescafé and La Virginia. Putting what you learn in the classroom to the test against real market challenges completely changes your perspective.
The degree provides you with a vast toolbox encompassing communication, strategy, and business, but the real difference lies in how you use those tools to view reality from a different perspective, make them your own, and find the way of working that resonates most with you. The true leap forward comes when you use those tools to challenge the status quo and forge your own path.

“There is nothing more irreplaceable than the creativity of each person, that unique perspective that no machine can replicate.”
Over the past three years, I've learned so much. In a world where many prejudices still exist about marketing, such as the idea that it's simply about selling a product, I was fortunate enough to quickly discover that this science is much deeper and much more human than I ever imagined when I started.
At a time when technology is advancing so rapidly and often creates doubts in creative professions, I understood that there is nothing more irreplaceable than the creativity of each person, that unique perspective that no machine can replicate.
Study at the Universidad Austral This made the experience even more enriching. The teachers, many of whom had extensive experience in the sector, ensured that each class felt closely aligned with professional realities.
If anyone is thinking about studying this degree, I would tell them to go for it and put their fears aside, because few degrees provide so many tools to think differently, create meaningfully, and grow both professionally and personally.

"It's a very comprehensive career that each person can adapt to their interests..."
My experience with the program has been very positive, challenging, enriching, and full of learning. So far, what I've enjoyed most is the wide range of opportunities it offers. Having practical courses allowed me to learn by doing, which encouraged me to take my first steps in the professional world.
Studying at Austral University is a formative experience for me as a professional. The challenges of coursework, studying, preparing for exams, and giving countless presentations teach me to work under pressure and to be professional. I also greatly value the opportunity to network with professors and classmates. The content is innovative, and the professors are constantly updating their knowledge, adapting the material to the needs of the course.
If I had to recommend studying this degree, I would definitely do so. I believe it's a very comprehensive degree that can be tailored to individual interests and allows you to view marketing and communication from different perspectives and gain a deep understanding of them.

“Marketing is not just about metrics and consumption; it’s about deeply understanding people.”
I came to this program looking for something that combined creativity with a human-centered approach. Over time, I've confirmed that I was in the right place and that the program is exceeding my expectations.
Throughout these three years, I have reaffirmed day by day that I am passionate about the strategic vision and the way we connect communication with people's real behaviors.
What I value most about studying at Austral University is the professors' commitment: they are involved in each student's process and ensure you never feel like just another number. Furthermore, the daily schedule is incredibly dynamic thanks to constant practice. One of the most enriching experiences I had was participating in a competition to present a communication proposal to Nestlé. Working with real-world brand cases and approaching them with the professionalism they demand provides invaluable experience for the professional world.
I would recommend this degree without hesitation to anyone looking for a solid strategic education, with a deeply human perspective and an academic community that truly supports you at every step of your development.

“It’s so nice to arrive every day at a place where they call you by your name, they know who you are, and your process truly matters.”
What I like most about this degree is that it's giving me a comprehensive view of everything in marketing. Since it's such a broad field, you need to know a bit about numbers, communication, and audiovisual production, and this degree gives you all of that together. I think it works really well as a starting point for figuring out which area you might want to dedicate yourself to in the future.
I was also very impressed by the quality and experience of the professors. It's wonderful to be able to come to a place every day where I'm called by name, where they know who I am, and where my progress truly matters. I always feel heard, and I've found in the faculty not only a place to study but also a place to connect with professionals who understand the day-to-day realities of marketing.
Another thing I value most is the number of doors the University opens if you know how to take advantage of them: programs, exchanges, job fairs and many other experiences, always with someone willing to help you go for them.

“One of the greatest virtues of this career is that it allows you to discover what you like as you go through it.”
Studying this degree allowed me to discover a much broader field than I had imagined. There's room for creativity, communication, and design, but also for management, research, and decision-making. This variety helped me understand that marketing isn't just about communicating or advertising: it's also about understanding consumers, interpreting contexts, identifying trends, and transforming all of that into business decisions.
What I value most is the opportunity to work on real-world challenges, applying the case study method and participating in projects with brands like Nestlé or La Virginia. But above all, I value what emerges when you decide to get involved.
Asking questions, challenging myself, and stepping outside my comfort zone led me to participate in projects with Audi and to be selected for the SEED Program, where I now work on a project to expand Yamanashi wine from Japan into Latin America. These are opportunities I didn't even know existed when I started my first year.

“The degree opened my mind a lot and made me discover areas that I didn't even know existed before.”
My experience with the program has been incredibly rewarding. What I like most is the variety of subjects and how it allows you to explore different areas, not only of marketing, but also of communication, design, and the business world. I feel like you develop a much broader perspective.
Something I really value is that the experience isn't limited to just taking classes. We're constantly encouraged to continue developing through courses, workshops, talks, and meetings with professionals. There are also many opportunities to connect with the professional world, such as job fairs and activities with different companies.
Furthermore, I was very impressed by the support and organization of the University. From the tutoring sessions to the professors' helpfulness, I feel that there is always someone willing to assist you and that they strive to make our daily lives easier.
