Business Economics prepares professionals capable of taking on the challenges of a manager or business administrator, such as designing business strategies, evaluating investment alternatives, leading and organizing teams, etc. However, in this case, it supports its decisions with a quantitative perspective through the use of statistical, econometric, and technological tools.
The Bachelor of Business Economics prepares professionals capable of defining and managing strategies and working in the Finance area of an organization, handling Econometrics, Big Data, Strategic Planning, integrating management teams; developing external consultancies and advice or new ventures.
The goal is to connect the analytical capacity of economics, the methodological rigor of econometrics, the scope of data science, and the complexity of modern decision theory with the main fields of action in business administration.
Professional internships are an extension of students' academic training. They provide the opportunity to put acquired knowledge into practice in a workplace where, in addition, students will receive training to perform assigned tasks. Their objective is to offer interns the opportunity to connect their theoretical knowledge with the practical realities of professional practice, develop the skills required for business operations, familiarize them with the work environment, and contribute to the organization's achievements in their assigned area.
To fulfill this curricular requirement, the internship must have lasted at least 480 hours.
