Undergraduate degree

Software development

Start date:

March 2027
Duration: 4 years in the Making
Modality: In‑person
Location: Rosario

Learn to create software from start to finish: from understanding a need to designing, developing, and launching the solution.

In this career you will be trained in full stack development and the use of artificial intelligence and agents, to learn how to carry out that process, combining a solid technical foundation with product vision, business and a responsible view of technology.

The program aims to train developers capable of adapting to a constantly changing industry, working with other profiles, and understanding the context in which technology is built.

  • Training that evolves with technology: The flexible learning path allows for the incorporation of knowledge related to emerging technologies and the changes taking place in the sector.
  • More than code, criteria for making decisions: The proposal seeks to train professionals capable of evaluating technological tools and alternatives according to each problem, without depending solely on specific technologies.
  • Connection with product and business: The plan integrates a perspective that links technical decisions with user needs, organizational objectives, and the value that a solution can generate.
  • Global perspective and interdisciplinary work: The training promotes communication and collaboration skills with profiles in development, data, design, product and business in diverse contexts.
  • Professional responsibility: The profile incorporates criteria of ethics, privacy, security and impact as part of technological decision-making.

Explore the career

Create digital applications, systems and products: transform concrete needs into useful technological solutions.

It works on both frontend and backend: developing both the interface used by a person and the logic, services, and databases that enable its operation.

Participate in architectural decisions: understand how the parts of a solution are organized and evaluate criteria for quality, security, performance, and scalability.

Test, deploy and improve software: detect errors, make adjustments and monitor the evolution of a solution after its launch.

It connects technology, product, and business: understand who it is being developed for, what problem it seeks to solve, and what value it can generate for an organization.

Works with interdisciplinary teams: collaborates with professionals in development, design, data, product and business, communicating and justifying technical decisions.

Software and technology services companies: companies dedicated to the development of applications, platforms, systems and digital products for clients or other organizations.

Startups and technology ventures: projects that use technology to create digital products or solve specific needs. Training can also provide tools to explore your own technology initiatives or join entrepreneurial teams.

Companies that develop their own digital solutions: organizations from different sectors that have technology teams to improve processes, serve customers or create new services.

Innovation and digital transformation teams: areas that work on the incorporation of new technologies, process automation and development of digital tools.

The program offers a progressive path that combines programming, software development, data, artificial intelligence, management and technology, advancing from the fundamentals to the design, development and evaluation of increasingly complex solutions.

Professional practice within your career

  • Analyze needs and design solutions: Understand a problem, gather requirements, break it down into parts, and think about how it can be solved using software.
  • Programming and developing full stack applications: Incorporate logic, algorithms, and different programming paradigms. Learn to work on both the visible part of an application (frontend) and the processes, services, and databases that enable its operation (backend).
  • Integrating artificial intelligence into development: Use AI tools to assist in code generation, review, debugging, documentation, and optimization. Also, learn to critically evaluate their results and incorporate artificial intelligence services within applications and digital products.
  • Working with data and information: Design and query databases, organize and transform information, and incorporate data engineering concepts to build solutions that use data appropriately.
  • Apply architectural, quality and safety criteria: Understand how a software solution is structured and begin making decisions considering its operation, maintenance, and evolution. Learn to perform tests, detect errors, and consider performance, security, and privacy criteria.
  • Use professional tools and practices: Working with repositories and version control systems, documenting developments, and incorporating practices linked to agile methodologies, DevOps, and application deployment in cloud environments.
  • Think of software as a product for people and organizations: Understanding who will use a solution, what need it seeks to address, and what value it can generate. Learning to connect technical decisions with user experience, product objectives, feasibility, and ethical considerations.
  • Participate in technology projects and teams: Organize tasks, communicate decisions, document processes, and collaborate with technical, design, and business profiles during the development of a solution.

Specific languages, frameworks, and platforms may be updated as the industry evolves. The aim of this program is for you to learn their fundamentals, understand the purpose of each tool, and develop criteria for incorporating new technologies.
