La Universidad Austral Headquarters RosarioTogether with Washington University and The Yield Lab, and with the support of the Government of the Province of Santa Fe, it is promoting a research project that aims to understand how the AgTech entrepreneurial ecosystem developed in Saint Louis, with a view to accelerating the growth of a similar ecosystem in Rosario and the region, based on the similarity (geographic, productive, logistical) of both regions. It is a research project underway since 2018 and has three phases:
Phase I: Identification of actions, elements, and actors that made the development of the Agtech ecosystem possible in St. Louis, Missouri (geographic location, ag coast, extensive agriculture) and brief analysis of the actors in the AgTech ecosystem of Rosario and your region.
Phase II: Descriptive analysis of the emerging AgTech ecosystem of Rosario and its region, in terms of the relevant actors, their interaction and the roles played by each of them, within the framework of the methodologies for analyzing the literature on entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Phase III: Replicate these types of studies in other regions in Latin America, seeking to articulate AgTech ecosystems to capture the region's potential as a food producer.
