El Center for Agribusiness and Food of the Headquarters Rosario of the Universidad Austral It is a specialized entity with a high academic level whose mission is to promote, from the region, the strengthening of agri-food value chains and related institutions, as an engine of long-term human, economic and social development for Argentina, through training and applied research.
The initiative promotes, from a university environment, the capacity of the agro-industrial sectors to create and lead opportunities and trends related to agribusiness and food, from our country, for the region and the world.

A study center to promote applied research projects and generate a space for reflection and analysis of the main challenges facing agribusiness.

We empower outreach activities, for the management development of SMEs in the agro-industrial sectors.
Why an Agribusiness Center in Rosario?
Exports of cereals, oilseeds, oils, etc. made through the ports of the Greater Rosario and the Paraná River account for 75% of the total exported by our country.
The so-called Central Region (provinces of Córdoba, Entre Ríos, and Santa Fe) has 20% of Argentina's population and represents 19% of its GDP.
The Rosafé region accounts for 70% of our country's agricultural exports of products and by-products.
The region accounts for the largest share of the country's refrigerated exports and is home to Latin America's most important dairy basin.
