Created in 1995, the Department's mission is to promote research and teaching of Constitutional Law from the perspective of "solidarity personalism," which conceives of the human person as the principle, subject, and end of the entire legal and political order, both national and international.
The Department's faculty consists of a group of outstanding full-time professors and an even larger group of part-time teachers.
Its members have published more than one hundred books on the topics of their specialty, which have received very positive feedback from the national, regional and international academic community.
