La Universidad Austral reached the first place among privately managed universities in Argentina at the QS World University Rankings 2027, one of the most prestigious and internationally recognized university rankings, compiled by the British consultancy QS Quacquarelli Symonds. This result positions the institution as the top-ranked private university in the country and reflects the sustained recognition of its educational project by the academic community and the professional world.
This year's results particularly reinforce two of the pillars that distinguish the educational project: personalized training and the preparation of professionals capable of generating a positive impact in their organizations and communities.
The University improved its performance on the indicator Faculty Student Ratio, a metric that evaluates the relationship between teachers and students, and which constitutes an international reference for the quality of the educational experience and the personalized support that students receive throughout their training.
The University also made progress in Employment OutcomesThis indicator measures the institution's impact on the professional development of its graduates and their employability outcomes. This performance is complemented by the strong recognition that Austral University maintains among employers, reflecting the value placed on its graduates and the University's ability to train professionals prepared to meet the challenges of an increasingly dynamic and complex environment.

The QS World University Rankings assesses universities based on indicators related to academic reputation, employer reputation, scientific research, internationalization, learning experience, employability, and sustainability. It combines objective data on institutional performance with surveys of academics and employers worldwide.
The 2027 edition included more than 1.500 universities from 106 higher education systems. Sixteen institutions in Argentina were ranked.
