During the month of August, a teacher training workshop was carried out within the framework of the three-year Erasmus international cooperation project.+ ACT4SDGsFunded by the European Union, the initiative brings together universities from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Germany, and Greece. Representing our country are the University of San Andrés (UDESA) and the Universidad Austral.
From our University, the school of education She led the training, which aimed to reflect on the inclusion of the SDGs in degree programs, under the coordination of the mg. Delfina MartellettiThe institutional work was supported by a team comprised of the Dr. María José Murcia, director of CESIS and the MBA program of IAE, the Dr. Verónica Torres, Sustainability Manager of the Universidad Austral, as well as the Dr. Santiago Bellomo, dean of the School of Education.
Part of the meeting was present Sustainability Committee, integrated by Veronica Torres, Federico Crespo y Mariela MucilliIn addition, teachers and representatives from different academic units joined: from the Faculty of Engineering María Angélica Moya participated; from the Faculty of Biomedical SciencesClaudia Lascano, Silvina Creus, María Belén Barrego, Verónica Bisagno, Santiago Farfán Rea and Agustina Guarnaccia; and of the School of EconomicsMarina Santucci. Manuela Álvarez also accompanied from the Directorate of Academic Planning and Processes.

The experience unfolded over four days of training under the title “Training workshop to integrate the SDGs into university educationThese included collaborative workspaces and a field trip to Ciervo de los Pantanos National Park. The project fostered the strengthening of networking both to inside the University, promoting a cascading effect, as in plane iinter-university, within a framework of exchange and joint construction, aimed at sharing practices and socializing knowledge.
At the University of San Andrés, the UNESCO Chair team, teachers, and the representative of the CASA project (San Andrés Extended Community), who coordinates the social and solidarity initiatives of her community, participated.
