Felicitas Casillo holds a PhD in Social Communication from the Universidad Australwhere she also completed undergraduate studies in Communication and postgraduate studies in Content Management. In addition, she completed postgraduate studies in Language Sciences with a focus on Language and Literature at the Joaquín V. González Institute and studied Philosophy at the Catholic University of La Plata.
She currently works as a professor in the Discourse Analysis and Creative Genres and Styles courses of the Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication at the Universidad Austral, and in the Final Integrative Work Workshop of the School of Postgraduate Studies in Communication.
She is the author of the poetry collections El gran enero (Del Dock, 2017) and El contorno del roble (Rialp, 2020). In 2022 she published El discurso de la cultura: metáforas y carácterciones. El patrimonio en el caso del Teatro Colón (Universidad Austral Editions, 2022). Her areas of research, study and academic publication are hermeneutics, discourse studies and aesthetic criticism.
