WhatsApp Image 2018-09-02 20.37.21 atWithin the framework of the Interdisciplinary Research Week “From Self to Person”, the presentation of teaching resource “Perspectives of the person”: a tool aimed at teenagers, especially designed to be used by Philosophy teachers in secondary schools.

 

“Perspectives of the person” It consists of a series of 3 videos available on the platform of You Tube, of which 2 were filmed in 360 degrees and can be viewed with virtual reality lensesThe goal of this technology is to experience the story in the first person, as if you were one of the characters in it.

To facilitate the students' experience, the Institute of Philosophy at Austral University makes available to schools virtual reality headsets specially designed for this project. The viewers will be distributed to classrooms over the next few months to promote the tool.

Through “Perspectives on the Person,” students will be able to reflect on understanding the human person from different perspectives: first, second, and third person. Complementing the teacher's work in class, the videos will help them distinguish these diverse paths to knowledge and their complementarity.

To facilitate visualization, this tool includes your own microsite and free app (available in Play Store y Apple Store) from where users can download a guide of questions for the class and an article that complements the classroom work.
