On Friday, March 22, at an exclusive event that marked the launch of the first edition of Austral Marketing MeetingsPhilip Kotler, the father of modern marketing, spoke live for the University with Reynaldo Rivera, director of the Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a focus on Communication and Design. The renowned professor lectured on the role of marketing, businesses, and the state in the growth of countries and their communities, placing special emphasis on the crucial nature of sustainable development.

The event was organized by la Universidad Austral on the occasion of the presentation of Spanish translation ofl book Humanistic Marketing: The Genesis of Human-to-Human Marketing, Written by Philip Kotler, Waldemar Pfoertsch and Uwe Sponholz and published by LID Editorial. 

 Alongside Kotler's participation, conferences were held by international marketing experts: Professor Waldemar Pförtsch (CIIM Business School, Cyprus; Technical University of Munich, Germany); Professor Frank Mulhern (Medill Northwestern University, United States); Carlos Trelles, CEO of Axon Latam (United States); and Professor Alandeom Oliveira (State University of New York, Albany, United States).

At headquarters Rosario At the University, a dialogue took place between the Director of the Marketing Department, Alejandro Gimbatti Luciano Casanova, Business and Innovation Manager of Café La Virginia SA (Argentina), Meanwhile, at the Pilar headquarters, a corporate panel was presented with three industry leaders, moderated by Ernesto Sala, director of the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Strategic Marketing from the Faculty of Business Sciences. The participants in the panel were Eugenia Krismancich, VP of Strategy for LATAM at Mondelēz, Francisco Mangiarotti, Marketing Sr. Director Latam South Beverages from PepsiCo and Raúl Fagalde, Marketing Director of PUMA Argentina.

 The event was held in a hybrid format and simultaneously from the venues Rosario and Pilar de la Universidad Austral and was organized by the Faculties of Communication and Business Sciences, with an attendance of more than 1000 people.
