For the third time in less than a year and a half, the CGT called a general strike against the government of Javier Milei. The number is impressive: it is the 45th strike since the return of democracy in 1983. But even more revealing is the pace, selectivity, and frequency with which Argentine unionism has deployed its forces according to the political leanings of the president in office.
