She holds a PhD in Philosophy and a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is a Senior Researcher at CONICET and a Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UBA, where she also directs the Philosophy of Science Group: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. She specializes in the philosophy of physics, particularly quantum mechanics. She has also conducted various analyses on determinism and indeterminism in highly unstable systems studied by ergodic theory and chaos theory. Currently, she is working on the development of a new interpretation of quantum mechanics, the modal-Hamiltonian interpretation. She is the author of more than 170 works in the Philosophy of Physics and Chemistry and has received significant international grants (Fundational Questions Institute; John Templeton Foundation).
