In the context of the 6th International Industry 4.0 Congress, the Universidad AustralArgentina announces a new strategic alliance between the Industry 4.0 Center – Faculty of Engineering – Universidad Austral, the Agribusiness and Food Center (CEAg) and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory (LINE) of the Faculty of Business Sciences, of the Universidad Austral Rosario.

The main objective of this initiative is Promoting Digital Transformation in the agri-food sector of Argentina and Latin AmericaThrough this multidisciplinary collaboration, The aim is to support agricultural companies in general, in their ability to adapt and maintain an agile response in an environment that evolves hand in hand with technology and innovation.
The agri-food sector is undergoing constant change, driven by the need to adapt to the standards of developed countries and new consumer demands, among other factors. Digital transformation has become a strategic priority to ensure the competitiveness and long-term success of agricultural businesses.
This alliance will promote the capacity of this sector to lead the opportunities and trends related to agribusiness, both locally and globally. Furthermore, it will generate empirical and applicable knowledge that allows individuals and organizations to develop digital capabilities, thus contributing to the digital transformation of the entire region.
The Industry 4.0 Center of the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Austral It is in a privileged position to lead this initiative because of its holistic vision of Industry 4.0. Furthermore, it has experience and international agreements that support the process of evaluating a company's digital maturity and building the appropriate roadmap to achieve success in the digital transformation processes for Agriculture 4.0.
The Agribusiness and Food Center (CEAg) It is a specialized entity, with over 15 years of experience and a high level of academic rigor, whose mission is to promote the strengthening of agri-food value chains and related institutions as an engine of long-term human, economic, and social development for Argentina. This center It promotes, from a university setting, the capacity of the agro-industrial sectors to create and lead opportunities and trends related to agribusiness and food, from our country, for the region and the world.
In turn, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory (LINE) From its inception, it assumed the commitment to promote innovation in all areas of the University and its community. From its academic role, It promotes the development of talent with an entrepreneurial mindset, with the purpose that people who are part of organizations or lead a new startup are active representatives of this opportunity for transformation through the management of technologies and business tools.
