The School of Education of the Universidad Austral celebrates the work of Dr. Daniel KlingerA graduate of the University Teaching Program (PU), who recently participated in a pediatric cardiovascular surgery mission in Nigeria. His work reflects the commitment, professional excellence, and educational dimension that we promote in our academic community.
Dr. Klinger is cardiovascular surgeon specializing in congenital heart diseaseHe trained at the University of Buenos Aires, the Ricardo Gutiérrez Hospital, and at leading centers in the United States and Germany. His university teaching qualifications strengthened his pedagogical skills, his leadership in healthcare teams, and his conviction that knowledge transmission is an essential component of medical practice.
During their participation in the mission carried out in the Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Hospital (Orifite, Nigeria) and driven by Voom FoundationDr. Klinger not only performed surgery on children with congenital heart disease, but also carried out a strategic educational task: training of local surgical teams, doctors and nurses, with the aim of contributing to the consolidation of professional skills in the field of cardiovascular child health.
Meanwhile, his teaching career continues in Argentina, where he works as Professor of the Diploma in Pediatric Cardiovascular Recovery of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences (FCB) of the Universidad Australpromoting continuous updating and evidence-based clinical practice.
