In October, the School of Education of the Universidad Austral participated in the discussion “Iterating to innovate: Strategies for integrating artificial intelligence into higher education”, made in the Sarmiento Palace, headquarters of the Education Secretariat of the Ministry of Human Capital.
The meeting included the participation of Dr. Justin Reich, associate professor at MIT, researcher at Harvard and director of the MIT Teaching Systems Laboratory; of Dr. Santiago Bellomo, dean of the School of Education of the Universidad Austral; and of Gustavo Riesgo, Director of Argentine Program for Innovation in Education with Artificial Intelligence (PAIDEIA) from the Secretariat of Education of the Ministry of Human Capital of the Nation.
During the discussion, the panelists shared reflections and strategies on how higher education institutions can integrate artificial intelligence to enhance their processes. teaching, learning and academic management.
The proposal brought together representatives from universities across the country in a space of dialogue, cooperation and innovation, aimed at promoting the internationalization and academic exchange.
The event was jointly organized by the Secretariat of Education of the Ministry of Human Capital and School of Education of the Universidad Austral, within the framework of a shared agenda for strengthening and innovation in higher education.
