Entrepreneurship with purpose: the winners of the 2025 Austral Entrepreneur Award

La Universidad Austral Headquarters Rosario It was born closely linked to the business world and the local business network, with the purpose of training professionals capable of responding to the real needs of the market. True to that founding spirit, and together with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory (LINE), We promote the development of projects with a focus disruptive, global, sustainable and committed to people and the community.

 

Within this framework, LINE is consolidating its position as a platform for promoting and supporting our young entrepreneurs, fourth-year business students. In this 9th edition of the Austral Entrepreneur Award , five teams presented innovative projects that reflect a commitment to sustainability, technology, and positive impact.

  • Gromo: Virtual assistance that proposes the development of digital solutions for agricultural producers, optimizing the management and analysis of field data.
  • Kiwi Credits: A platform that simplifies and accelerates access to SME financing in Argentina, connecting companies with multiple entities through a single data upload and automatic pre-scoring.
  • Meatpro: develops a natural bioprotective culture that eliminates virulent strains of E. coli enterohemorrhagic in meats without altering their quality, providing a sustainable and scientific solution for safer meat.
  • Arnova: It creates a bioinsecticide based on RNAi technology that controls the fall armyworm without GMOs or chemicals, providing an effective and sustainable alternative for corn.
  • Marine Glow: It transforms fish waste into sustainable and traceable marine collagen, turning an environmental problem into a circular opportunity with global reach.

Winners of the Austral Entrepreneur Award 2025

  • 1st place – Meatpro
    Made up of D'Alonzo Lucía, Fargio Federica, Janer Martina, Nalli Ornella, Ragone Marcos and Siri Lucas.
  • 2nd place – Gromo
    Integrated by Albarracín Lucía, Rocío del Pazo, Valentino Riva, and Valentina Zabala.
  • 3rd place – Kiwi Credits (Kiwi C)
    Integrated by Felipe Suaya, Nicolás Oviedo, Iñaki Múgica, Gonzalo Martino and Nicolás Papa.

The winning teams will receive mentorship and support throughout the next year from the Austral community and stakeholders in the public and private entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition, the first-place team will receive an incentive grant to further develop their startup.
