The Institute of Philosophy, together with the project LATAM Bridges in Epistemology of Religion The University of Houston will organize a seminar on the epistemology of religion from July 18 to 29, at the Pilar Campus.
For two weeks, 20 academics from Latin America will participate in this seminar, which will be led by 8 renowned analytical philosophers, including John Greco (Georgetown), Kelly Clark (Grand Valley), Katia Vavova (Mount Holyoke).
Participants will receive US$2000 in addition to hotel and meal expenses.
Candidates must be Latin American graduate students, postdocs, or academics who have received their doctorates no more than 15 years prior and are currently working, or interested in beginning work, in the epistemology of religion. The seminar will be conducted entirely in English.
