The work is a research project conducted between 2021 and 2022, which studied the perceptions of Latin American elites regarding their ties with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Directed by Dr. Luciano Bolinaga and co-directed by Alejandro Conconi, MA, the initiative was supported by the Korea Foundation and published by Teseo.
The book launch took place at the Cerrito campus, with attendees present in person, and was also streamed online. Dr. Alfonso Santiago spoke about the book during the event.
