New approaches in cancer treatment

Cancer, in its various forms, was traditionally treated with a triad of surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. However, in recent decades, this treatment has evolved significantly. Immunotherapy and targeted molecular therapies are two approaches that complement conventional chemotherapy, offering hope for greater survival and improved quality of life where previous results were not always as expected.
