Being a bus driver documentary about jaguars in Iguazu, produce a blockbuster series, launch video games in Argentina or be tiktokers in Machu Picchu for a hotel chain? These are just some of the work experiences shared by graduates at the first meeting of the Faculty of Communication (FC) of the Universidad Austral that we dedicate to the audiovisual world.

The event brought together professionals who currently work in the industry from different formats, platforms and corners of the world.

Led by the teachers Gabriela Fabbro y Majo Müller, with the presence of the dean Marcela Pizarro, It was a space for new ideas, inspiration, and networking, where we also celebrated the 30th anniversary of Night of the Stars.

Professionals such as Guillo D'Aiello (GDM Creations), Pablo Mayer (Ecobella), Hernan Belon (producer and director), Jason Mayne (TN and El Trece), Federico Camandone (Half Idea), Felipe Mc Gough (TCR South America), Delfina Carmona (Urban Play), the FC teachers Juan Pablo Kolodziej y Mariana Bachiller (showrunner and production manager of The love after Love), John HeineFrom Denmark, he connected in the early hours to participate in the dialogue between colleagues.

They talked about everything: from how to boost national production with sustainable financing, to the role of the multi-skilled professional, creativity as a key asset, and AI as a tool that needs human curation.

There was spoilers from upcoming major productions, advice for those just starting out, and reflections on how to adapt to an increasingly fragmented audience, but one that is just as eager for stories.

Since career paths are endless, we're organizing three more events in other fields. If you're an FC graduate and want to participate in the next one, find out more at: https://www.austral.edu.ar/comunicacion/graduados-fc/
