About the speaker: Alejandro Arroyo Welbers

Director of the Specialization in International Trade 

PhD in Project Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (Australia), MBA in Marine Resource Management awarded by the University of Tasmania, and MSc in Maritime Economics and Offshore Operations awarded by the World Maritime University (UN, Sweden).

It has more than 40 years of international experience in the energy, mining, transportation, and infrastructure sectors. He has developed his career from Canada, Australia, and Scandinavia, leading projects in various countries in the Americas, Asia, and Africa.

With a solid track record in management positions related to foreign trade, she combines a global strategic vision with in-depth technical knowledge. He is a professor at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Universidad Austral, ITBA, the UBA and UCEMA, and visiting professor at the University of Lyon III – IAE Jean Moulin (France). He currently manages Southmark Consulting Canada Inc. (Toronto) and Southmark Logistics SA (Buenos Aires).
