On Thursday the 19th, the 6th Annual Graduates Meeting was held, one of the most anticipated events for the entire Austral Community.
More than 400 alumni from all campuses of the Universidad Austral They met at the Pilar Campus, shared memories, reminisced, hugged, and laughed. There were graduates from the old Garay building, from Cerrito, Pilar, and also some who traveled from Rosario Don't miss this event that invites you to relive the Austral spirit every year.
The Alumni and Professional Development Department invites Austral University graduates to reconnect with classmates, colleagues, professors, and university officials to strengthen the university community and foster closer ties with the institution. This is a way to thank them for representing the university in their respective fields and to express our pride in them for promoting essential values and making a positive impact on society.
During the gathering, the graduates had the opportunity to support the Scholarship Fund by paying a symbolic $5.000 for a drink or making voluntary donations to promote education and help other young people receive a quality education, regardless of their financial situation. As a token of appreciation, they received an Austral University t-shirt. Thanks to the contributions of 67 graduates, $326.500 was raised.
We thank Julián Rodríguez, Rector of the University, who welcomed this new opportunity to meet; María Manson, Director of the Graduate and Professional Development Department, who was in charge of all the organization; Laura Blaquier, Director of Institutional Development; Majo Müller (graduate and professor at the Faculty of Sciences), for her generosity and excellent leadership; Sofía Posleman, professor at the School of Government, who enlivened the evening with her beautiful voice; Consuelo Pardo, an International Relations student, who opened the event singing tango; Tobías Rocha, a Design student, who accompanied the reception playing the cello; and all the people who collaborated to make the event impeccable.
And thank you to our graduates, because without them this event wouldn't be possible. Thank you for being part of this unforgettable night!
