Between October 27 and 31, 2025, the VI Conference on Foundations, Philosophy, and History of Physics was held, an academic exchange forum that featured 40 speakers and 207 attendees. The event was formally hosted at the Institute of Philosophy of the Universidad Austral It was organized in collaboration with the University of Buenos Aires and CONICET. Held virtually, it brought together researchers, teachers, and students from 17 countries interested in the theoretical, methodological, and historical aspects of physics.
Over five days, the conferences addressed topics related to the interpretation of quantum mechanics, the relationship between physics and philosophy, and the epistemological challenges of modern science. The diversity of approaches and backgrounds enriched the interdisciplinary dialogue and reaffirmed the international character of the event.
According to the organizers, the continuation of these conferences demonstrates the growing interest in considering physics from a philosophical and historical perspective. The Institute of Philosophy thus reinforces its commitment to cutting-edge research and global academic collaboration.
