The government is preparing to send a new draft of the Tax Innocence bill to Congress, which will revise the Simplified Income Tax Regime (RSG). The draft, which modifies Laws 27.799 and 11.683, seeks to correct weaknesses in the current legislation, eliminate access restrictions, and provide greater predictability for taxpayers who wish to regularize undeclared assets. Behind the draft lies an objective pursued by the economic team: to encourage Argentinians to bring their dollars out of the country, a sum estimated by the International Monetary Fund to be around $200.000 billion.
