La Universidad Austral received the visit of Goro Mutsuura, Director of Gorom Association, who accompanied us at the launch of SEED 2024 Program. This program, whose acronym in English means "Social Entrepreneurs for Sustainable Development" Its aim is to support young people so they can create and contribute innovative solutions for small businesses. Students from Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Japan participate in the program.

In the presentation, Goro Mutsuura He shared his passion for fostering ties between Latin America and Japan, particularly through youth. He conveyed to us the importance of being open to challenges and the immense satisfaction that comes with teamwork, especially when we can gain a global perspective by sharing experiences with students from other countries and observing different realities, such as those of local producers in Japan. Afterwards, the four students from the 2023 SEED Program and one student from the 2022 SEED Program shared their experiences and answered questions from students interested in participating in the program.
Finally, some representatives from the last edition of the program in 2023 accompanied Goro Mutsuura to deliver the SEED 2023 report to Rector Julián Rodríguez.
