There is much discussion these days about the supposed rights to protest—on the one hand—and to move freely—on the other; a controversy arises about alleged conflicts between rights or between constitutional principles. In reality, neither protest nor movement constitutes a “right” per se. No one—except in cases of mental or psychological disorder—protests for the sake of protesting or moves freely. One always protests for a cause and with a purpose, and one moves freely to get somewhere.
