The program addresses project management in a comprehensive way, combining theoretical foundations,
practical tools and traditional and agile approaches, aligned with international standards.

  • Introduction to Project Management: areas of knowledge and balance of project constraints.
  • Integration Management: Project Charter, stakeholder management and stakeholder interest/power matrix.
  • Scope Management: Definition and development of the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
  • Schedule Management: project network, critical path, time reduction techniques and resource leveling.
  • Management tools: practical use of common market software such as
    MS Project, ProjectLibre, Gantter, among others.
  • Cost Management: cost and time performance indicators.
  • Quality Management: applied to both projects and products.
  • Communications Management: planning and control of project information.
  • Resource Management: management of talent and material resources.
  • Risk Management: identification, assessment and response plans.
  • Procurement Management: project purchasing and contracting processes.
  • Agile Project Management: principles, approaches and application of the Agile framework.

By fulfilling the requirements of the Comprehensive Program in Project Management, the Universidad Austral It awards a certificate of attendance, which accredits 36 hours of formal training.

This training allows you to meet the minimum project management training requirement for those who wish to take the international certification exam. PMP® (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which requires at least 35 hours of formal training.

Important: The program provides the training required for the PMP®, but international certification is obtained by taking and passing the PMI exam.
