He has a distinguished career in anti-money laundering, criminal policy, and international cooperation. He was President of the Financial Information Unit (UIF), National Representative to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and GAFILAT, National Coordinator of the Program for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, and Vice President of the Group of Experts for the Control of Money Laundering (GELAVEX). Previously, he served as Secretary of the Federal Court of Cassation. He is a professor at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Universidad Austral and is a visiting lecturer at various universities. He is the author of publications and co-author of books on criminal law, tax law, and the prevention of money laundering.
