A group of graduates from all academic units of the Universidad AustralThey participated in a meeting with Julián Rodríguez, rector of the institution, and María Manson, director of the Graduates and Professional Development area.

Each of them was specially invited because of their outstanding role both during their university studies and in their current professional careers. The objective of this invitation? To propose that they be active participants, joining us in the development of the Universidad Austral.

During the meeting, Julián detailed the five strategic priorities that mark the institutional direction: fostering unity and interdisciplinarity, promoting innovation in the academic offer, advancing in the professionalization of management, strengthening research with impact on the immediate environment and promoting the link with the ecosystem of companies, organizations and also the State.

“We don’t understand the University without generating a positive impact”The rector expressed and emphasized that the graduates are the first community that surrounds and accompanies Austral. “We need you to work together to shape the University of the future”.

The graduates, for their part, appreciated the invitation, the enthusiasm and the desire to maintain close contact, shared some concerns and expressed their desire to work together, break down barriers and generate more traceability in the relationship with their alma mater. “The University can add value to graduates and propose concrete actions”They agreed, “But we must also be proactive and share our ideas.”

This meeting was another step in building a strong, committed alumni community with an active, leading role. An invitation to be “more than graduates”Graduates who contribute, make an impact, inspire, and drive us to continue growing together.
