Gerardo López Alonso is Professor Emeritus of the Universidad Austral and a key figure in the training of generations of communicators. He joined the Faculty of Information Sciences in 1993 and taught fundamental subjects until 2021, such as Structure of Journalistic Information, Analysis of International Information y Management of Information CompaniesIn addition, he was Vice Dean of the Faculty, directed the Master's Program in Communication Management of Organizations, and played an active role in the development of the teaching staff.
