4th year students of the Universidad Austral Headquarters Rosario They are crowned winners of the Local Final of “CFA Institute Research Challenge 2023-2024”.

The challenge, organized by the CFA Institute—a global association of investment professionals—highlights students' ability to evaluate publicly traded companies and offer well-informed investment recommendations. Since 2019, our University, through an initiative of the Finance Department at the main campus, has participated in this challenge. RosarioParticipate in this challenge as part of your final year project. You will be undertaking a finance project that culminates in this important competition.

The program offers students the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired throughout their studies in a practical and challenging setting. Within this challenge, students develop analytical, evaluation, and report-writing skills, assuming the role of a real-world investment analyst.

This year, the report submitted by our students allowed them to stand out among the four selected finalists and enabled them to compete in a local final, in English, with students from other universities in the country.

With their victory in this local stage, competing against undergraduate and postgraduate students, the team made up of Tomas Bortolutti, Francisco Pardo, Jesús Manuel Abusar, Pedro di Prinzio and Manuel Gaspar, fourth-year business administration students, will go on to compete in the regional stage of the challenge, where they will face students from other Latin American universities.

This success is a testament to the achievements of our students and the University, and positions our institution as a leader in finance. The students' dedication is particularly noteworthy, underscoring the importance of faculty providing opportunities that challenge and stimulate the growth of future professionals.
