He holds a Bachelor's and Teaching Degree in Philosophy from UNSTA – Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino (Argentina), and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra. He is currently the Director of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Montevideo and a Professor (Grade 3) of History of Philosophy at the University of the Republic (Uruguay). He has conducted research at UNISINOS (2014, Porto Alegre), at the Center for Philosophy of Religion (2016, University of Notre Dame), and was a SCIO Visiting Scholar in Science and Religion (2018-2019, Oxford). His research focuses on the history of medieval philosophy and philosophy of religion.
