Identity and mission of the university in 21st-century Latin America

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this activity will be rescheduled for 2021.

The seminar consists of eight meetings throughout the year in the auditorium of the Degree Building:

  3. University mission in changing contexts. Teacher: Maria Iraburu.
  4. Christian identity in teaching, research and management. Professor: Javier Sesé.
  5. University reputation: To be or to seem? Teacher: Monica Herrero.
  6. Identity and project of the university teacher. Professor: Ricardo Crespo.
  7. Intellectual leadership of the university. Thinking about the great themes of each era. Professor: Juan José Sanguineti.
  8. Identity and plurality in the university: Challenges of contemporary culture to Christian consciousness. Professor: Mariano Fazio.

The core philosophical and theological seminars aim to deepen the specific disciplines cultivated at the university, fostering a close relationship between philosophy, theology, and the experimental and social sciences. These courses seek to create in the Universidad Austral a field of study and discussion that can be the seed of interdisciplinary research.
