Study plan
The Humanities Studies Program (PEH) offers a training environment that allows for the integration of thought, teaching, and academic life. There are no islands in the world of culture, especially in this era where everything is communicated instantly.
Therefore, the Program is oriented towards generating an interdisciplinary space enriched by the specific training of each individual and their own teaching experience.
It is aimed at generating an interdisciplinary space enriched by the specific training of each individual and their own teaching experience.
It is proposed as a Continuing Education Program for teachers of the Universidad AustralIts curriculum design, which is developed along three axes, seeks both to strengthen and harmonize the scientific, pedagogical and humanistic training of the professors of our university, as well as to promote interdisciplinary studies.
To obtain the Diploma of Humanistic Studies, it is required to: complete the five mandatory subjects of the PEH and accumulate twenty-eight credits with free-choice subjects.
At least ten of these credits must correspond to the philosophical axis and another ten to the didactic-pedagogical axis. Elective courses will have a variable duration, awarding one credit for every ten hours of class. Each year, several of the courses in the curriculum will be offered in either a face-to-face or online format.
