Presentation

Understanding, supporting and caring: a comprehensive view of human fertility.

La University Diploma in Comprehensive Support for Fertility and InfertilityThis academic program is designed to address couples' fertility from a truly holistic perspective. It aims to foster an understanding of the biological, psychological, social, spiritual, and relational processes involved in the journey to conceive, as well as the emotional challenges that arise in the face of infertility.

Infertility affects today 1 in 6 people of reproductive age (WHO, 2023). Its impacts extend beyond the clinical realm: they affect emotional well-being, personal projects, relationships, and support networks. Therefore, professional support requires interdisciplinary, ethical, and sensitive preparation that allows for an understanding of the complexity of these human processes.

This Diploma program offers an excellent theoretical and practical course, aligned with the ICF's humanistic mission, in order to train professionals capable of intervening with empathy, depth and responsibility, providing tools for prevention, care and comprehensive support.
