Anytime, anywhere.

I'm a psychologist, and a year after graduating, I started looking for training related to family therapy, which has always been my area of interest. While researching, I discovered this program. I was drawn to the course format and the university's prestige. I requested information and found it very interesting. I enrolled immediately.
Of all the course content, I was surprised by the amount of data, writings, and information about family. On the human side, I was surprised by the closeness I felt with the professors and tutors on the day of my final project presentation. I always thought that the online format would prevent that kind of contact, but being there and sharing with classmates and professors made it feel as if the distance hadn't existed.
Now that I've finished, I can say that the Bachelor's degree contributed greatly to my professional development, not only in terms of the course content, information, texts, etc. I consider a degree to be a life experience. I not only learned, by necessity, how to navigate the virtual world; I also learned to connect with my classmates and professors in a different way, to continue respecting different points of view, and to approach things from a different perspective, far removed from the one I was familiar with (in my role as a psychologist).

Certainly, titles or professional, entrepreneurial, academic, athletic, and other achievements take precedence over what is most fundamental. I want to emphasize that, first and foremost, we are sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, husbands, fathers, and so on. That is what we must focus on to help foster the family as the fundamental basis in all aspects of life.
For 30 years, my "professional" development has revolved around very specific technical issues related to large-scale electricity generation. However, I can assure you that the problems that arise are not purely technical. On the contrary, they are human relations problems, which everyone, regardless of their position within the company, encounters daily. Those of us who have the task of leading are morally obligated to provide support both inside and outside the workplace. I don't see combining my tasks as a challenge; rather, I feel a complete complementarity thanks to the knowledge I gained during my wonderful undergraduate studies.

The Bachelor's Degree in Family Sciences was the perfect complement to my profession as an Educational Psychologist. The experience enriched me immensely.
To those interested in pursuing this degree, I highly recommend it. It's an excellent program, and the university boasts high-quality professors, course content, and materials.
There are many fields of study that examine family from their own perspective: psychology, law, anthropology, and so on. This field brings them all together. And my main interest is the family—all of it. Doing so in the Universidad AustralIt gave me confidence because it is a prestigious university, with a focus on unity and always persevering in taking great care of the continuity of that institution.
Throughout my undergraduate studies, I was passionate about learning, researching, and connecting with so many professionals, both professors and classmates, who enriched the course. It was a constant learning experience, in every forum, in every subject, from email exchanges to research and assignments. Since most of us were already professionals, we were taking the course with a different objective: to deepen our knowledge, always in a mature and responsible manner.
My advice to those considering this degree is to choose this career with the goal of becoming and creating better people and families for the future, starting with your own, and then trying to help those who need you. Always strive to contribute to society, and it is essential to first free yourselves from all kinds of prejudice. The other person is the one who needs us, whether they are the same or different, but our contribution is to the family and to society, whatever it may be; the foundation is always the family.
