11.04.2024

Author: Engineering Degree

Juan Cruz Fernández, director of Industrial Engineering, met in the Chamber of Deputies with other representatives from the public and private sectors to discuss bills that promote the development of electromobility. Juan Cruz participated in a University Panel.
The objective of these initiatives is to place the country on the global agenda of the economic decarbonization plan and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, a commitment that Argentina has undertaken.

Why does mobility have a major impact on decarbonization?

Because motor transport is one of the leading causes of global environmental pollution. Moving towards sustainable mobility is not only important, but urgent.
Some of the main changes are the incorporation of lithium-ion batteries, electric hybrids and compressed natural gas (CNG), replacing diesel and gasoline vehicles.
