I currently work at Accenture from Jujuy, in addition to running my own brand, White Business Solutions. What I enjoyed most about studying in Buenos Aires and Pilar was the campus and the variety of activities it offers, with the added advantage of being just 40 minutes from Buenos Aires City. For those thinking about coming, I'd say it's a transformative opportunity that marks a turning point both personally and professionally.

"My decision to study at Austral was due to my search for a place with human support during a time of great change."

My name is Romina Peric Andrade, and I currently work as the raw materials purchasing director at Mohawk in Switzerland. I studied Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Austral Moving to Buenos Aires was a pivotal decision in my life. I had been moving constantly because of my dad's job and had finished high school in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, so I was looking for a supportive environment during a time of significant change. Austral University offered tutoring, support classes, and an exceptional atmosphere that helped me adapt to living alone in a city as big as Buenos Aires and make the transition from high school to university. I grew both academically and personally, formed friendships that I still cherish today, and I wholeheartedly recommend the university to other students considering studying in Buenos Aires.

I'm from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and I currently work in the FP&A department at Boston Scientific, a multinational medtech company. I chose the Universidad Austral I chose Austral University because of its international academic prestige and because I was looking for the best possible education for my career. What I loved most about studying in Pilar and living in Buenos Aires was the warmth of the people and the great friends I made, who are now like family. Beyond what I learned in class, the experience gave me independence, maturity, and tools for professional life. I recommend that any student take the plunge: Austral combines academic excellence with a unique humanistic education.

"I value the independence of Buenos Aires and the richness of the experience of stepping outside my comfort zone."

I chose the Universidad Austral Because of the breadth of the Communication degree program, I was able to explore diverse areas before defining my focus. As an international student in Buenos Aires, I value the independence the city offers, highlighting the ease of public transportation, the convenience of having accessible services, and above all, the warmth of the people. My most significant experience has been the constant challenge and opportunity for growth that comes with living in another country, which forced me to step outside my comfort zone, adapt, and open myself to new ways of thinking. To any other student considering coming, I would advise that it is a worthwhile experience due to the welcoming atmosphere, the cultural richness, the passion of the professors, and especially the warmth of the people who always include foreigners. Currently, I am managing social media and editing videos for these platforms.

"The main motivation was the search for passionate teachers and a commitment to human development."

My main motivation for studying at the Universidad Austral It was the search for an institution with passionate professors and a strong commitment to teaching and holistic human development, something I deeply value. Studying in Buenos Aires/Pilar, what I enjoy most are the well-defined seasons, especially the cold. The experience that most impacted me was changing my major at the end of 2023: after two and a half years in Communication, I took the plunge and switched to Marketing with a focus on Communication and Design, a decision I now consider the best of my life, as it taught me that it is in moments of uncertainty that true paths are found. To a student considering coming here, I would say that taking the leap (despite the initial difficulty of loneliness and challenges) can change your life, as it fosters personal growth, self-knowledge, and, in my case, allowed me to rediscover my faith. Currently, I am working as the head of the Marketing department at a company.

"I was drawn to the academic level and the different way of approaching the Design degree."

I chose the Universidad Austral Because I was incredibly drawn to its academic standards, its international focus, and especially the way they structure the Design program, which was very different from anything I knew in my country. I've loved living in Buenos Aires because of the cultural diversity and the vibrant university life, and the campus in Pilar is an ideal place to study. Adapting wasn't easy; on my first day, I got lost and arrived late, feeling completely out of place. But that experience, along with the challenge of living alone, taught me the value of independence and resilience. Today, I feel confident and convinced that I made the best decision. I'm even starting out as a teaching assistant. To anyone thinking about coming, I would say go for it without hesitation. The change is significant, but the experience is worth it for all the personal growth you experience, the amazing people you meet, and the memories you create forever.
