La Universidad AustralThrough the Technological Liaison Unit and the Faculty of Engineering, received Dr. Elsa Estevez, from the National University of the South, and to Professor Marijn Janssen, Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
The central purpose of the meeting was to foster an exchange of knowledge and experiences on the practical application of AI in areas such as government, education, health and engineering. In addition, various models for creating AI expert networks were discussed, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and development in this constantly evolving field.
Delft University of Technology, renowned for its outstanding innovation ecosystem and pioneering educational model, was a focal point of interest during the event. Participants had the opportunity to learn firsthand about its innovative practices and advanced approach to AI.
Among the participants was the professor Jorge Vilas, from the School of Government; the professor Adriana Baravalle, AI and cybersecurity specialist at the Faculty of Engineering; Santiago Rómoli and Victoria Sundblad, from the Technological Liaison Unit; and the engineer Emilio López Gabeiras, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Austral.
