Specialization in Gas and Oil Management

• Streaming (virtual live)
  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:30 p.m. to 21:30 p.m. (minimum attendance of 75% per subject).
• Optional in-person sessions (attendance is recommended)
  3 Mondays per module, from 8:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. at the CABA Headquarters (Cerrito 1250).

The specialization provides a cross-disciplinary perspective on the hydrocarbon industry. It is designed to shorten the learning curve for engineers, geologists, lawyers, economists, business administrators, accountants, chemists, and others involved in the sector.

• Applicants must be graduates of a university program of four or more years in duration. Those without a university degree but with proven professional experience will be evaluated by the Board of Directors.
• Possess knowledge of English for reading and comprehension of texts.
• Attend an Admission Interview.

The plan consists of 6 areas, divided into 3 modules:

1. Technology of the gas and oil industry.
2. Economics and Marketing.
3. Legal and Regulatory Framework.
4. Environment.
5. Financial Planning and Management.
6. Humanities Subjects.

Oil and Gas Economics. International and National Market

Introduction to the Oil and Gas Industry. Downstream – Midstream

Legal and regulatory aspects

Practical Workshops with optional in-person attendance II (*)

Gas and Oil Marketing. International and Domestic. Decision Making

Introduction to the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry

Environmental Management

Professional ethics

Final Project Monitoring and Tutoring

FINAL WORK

Professional application project, which will be carried out individually, with oral and public defense, and under the guidance of a director.

(*) Practical Sessions: there are 3 Mondays per module, with optional in-person attendance for particular situations (with prior authorization from the Director).

The study plan is subject to change by the Organization.

Those who comply with the promotion regime will obtain the academic certificate of approval of Specialization Accredited by CONEAU under Resolution No. 471-17
