Journalism as a factor of civility in caste society

Sergio Massa and Javier Milei share a disdain for the role of journalism, even though both are experts. in taking advantage of his strengths. While Massa is publicly tolerant of the criticism he receives from the press, he employs the underhanded strategy in his relationship with the media that professional politicians often use to control that criticism. Milei, on the other hand, makes no secret of his fury at the criticism, despite considering himself an heir to the English philosopher Jeremy Bentham, who was none other than the author of the first text resembling a press freedom law in colonial America. This was requested in 1808 by Francisco de Miranda himself, the Venezuelan considered the precursor of Latin American independence.
