Sustainable corporate governance in the European Union (EU) can be observed on three distinct but constantly interacting levels. One of these consists of global regulations, such as the recently enacted standards, reporting directives, and due diligence directives on sustainability and human rights (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive).
