The Latin alphabet ends at Z. Therefore, we must turn to Greek to express this epochal shift and designate a new cohort of human beings: Generation Alpha. Although we know that all categorization entails a degree of reductionism, the act of identification and characterization already implies an awareness, some level of understanding of the subject matter. This is the case when we speak of childhood and focus our attention on today's children, offspring of a culture shaped by digitalization and the expansion of artificial intelligence.
