The seminar “Latin American constitutionalism: foundations and new perspectives

On On May 12, 2025, the seminar entitled 'Latin Constitutionalism, Foundations and New Perspectives' was held, organized jointly by the Centre for Research in Roman Law (CIDR) of the Universidad Austral, the Center for Latin American Legal Studies (CSGLA) of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and the Italian University Consortium for Argentina (CUIA). 

The seminar began with institutional greetings from Prof. Maria Rosario Stoppani, Director of the CIDR and Prof. Carla Masi Doria, Director of the CUIA. 

The activity was divided into two panels: the first entitled “Roman public law and Latin constitutionalism"and the second, "Liberal constitutionalism and Latin constitutionalism”, in which professors Norberto Rinaldi, Mirta B. Álvarez, José Carlos Costa, and Roberta Marini presented, Susanna Pozzolo, Lorenzo Spadaccini and Stefano Porcelli. 

Finally, the conclusions were presented by Prof. Riccardo Cardilli. Students and professors from various Argentine and foreign universities participated in the event.
