From Master's in International Relations to the UN: Amelia Nieva Rodríguez completes a stay at the United Nations System Staff College

In January 2024, the School of Government and the United Nations School of Government and Training College (UNSSC) signed an agreement Collaboration agreement broad based on a shared vision on the role of education and knowledge in promoting sustainable development.

Within this framework, Amelia Nieva Rodríguez, a student in the Master's Program in International Relations (MRI), was selected from among more than 50 applicants to participate in a Academic Fellowship at UNSSC for a period of one year. Amelia is a Biomedical Engineer from the National University of Tucumán, president and founder of the NGO "Flor de Lirolay" and member of the Center for Global Governance Studies (CEGG) of our University.

From the UNSSC headquarters in Turin, Italy, Amelia works on the Leadership & Management Program providing substantial and operational support for the design, development, coordination, and evaluation of the learning program: “Contributing to capacity building within the United Nations Training College is an experience that fills me with pride, enthusiasm, and responsibility. I cannot fail to thank the Universidad Austral"It not only opened the doors to this opportunity for me, but also provided me with the tools and academic support that allow me to face this challenge with confidence today."
